As members of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity, we commit ourselves to uphold the values taught in our Ritual and restated in our Vision, Mission, and Creed. The True PIKE is committed to a life of caring for others as he cares for himself. In pursuit of that ideal, we reaffirm our commitment to serve our community through participation in civic organizations and events.
One of the more notable community service projects of the Spring 2016 Semester was completed on Saturday, April 2, 2016, when Gamma Xi cleaned-up litter around the Missouri Flat Creek and College Hill Climb paths, as well landscaped around the College Hill sign. In coordination with the College Hill Neighborhood Association, a group of fifteen men took part in redesigning the landscape around the College Hill Neighborhood sign on the intersection of Maiden Lane and Opal Street. Also, a much larger group of men were tasked with removing garbage and furniture that have accumulated over years by the Missouri Flat Creek and the College Hill Climb paths and filled a dumpster and a half with trash. Over 180 volunteers hours were contributed during the events.
