As ambitious individuals, we often draft lists of goals with the hopes of bettering ourselves—get into shape, buy a new car, spend more time with family—and all too soon we set things aside. It can wait until later. However, we know we will be better off if we act now.
At the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Pi Kappa Alpha members are making an immediate impact on their community and the fraternity. They strive to better Gamma Tau Chapter every day, as demonstrated by our members:
Members are committed to upholding Pike’s ideals of integrity, intellect, and achievement through the accomplishments listed above and increased alumni involvement. For the first time in years, alumni attended the officer retreat, work week, and rush.
It has been six years since Gamma Tau ran an annual campaign, and with the initiation of the 2018 Gamma Tau Annual Fund, we hope our alumni are inspired to recognize and award the stellar progress the chapter has made. The gifts made to this initiative will demonstrate to each of our undergraduates that investing in the fraternity is a top priority. This winter, we plan to raise $20,000 to make electrical updates to the house and replace the portion of the roof over the front hall. Additionally, if we meet our stretch goal of $30,000, we will be able to make landscaping improvements such as improving drainage and repairing the parking lot.
We need you to say “yes” to Gamma Tau this winter. I ask that you join me in showing our active members that, like in our four years of college, Pi Kappa Alpha is a priority.
If we don’t give back to chapter now, then when? It is hard to place a value on our Pike experience, but by making a gift today we demonstrate what our experience has meant to us. Let’s not wait to recommit to Gamma Tau.

P.S. Your generous gift truly shows committing to Gamma Tau is worth doing now.
