Alpha Nu-University of Missouri

Our semi-annual academic scholarship fund was founded in the Spring of 2013 to recognize and reward active members in the chapter for their excellent academic performance at the University of Missouri.

In the Fall of 2014, the scholarship fund was able to accumulate ~$8,000 for active members that received a 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA during the previous Spring 2014 semester.

The scholarship checks are handed out during Mom’s and Dad’s Weekends in the Spring and Fall respectively. The scholarship is tiered, and goes as follows:

  • 3.00 – 3.24: $50
  • 3.25 – 3.49: $100
  • 3.50 – 3.74: $150
  • 3.75 – 3.99: $200
  • 4.00 / 4.00: $250

The Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity was created to attract men committed to the full development of their intellectual and personal potential. The scholarship applications are evaluated by a committee consisting of members of the Alumni Advisory Board and Executive Council and will be presented to the recipient(s) during our Homecoming celebration. There will be multiple scholarships awarded in the amount of $500 per rushee.
