Since 2008, Beta Chi has set the standard for all Greeks at the University of Minnesota. Strong leaders, quality brothers and an ideally located chapter house has been our recipe for success. Now, in order to own our future and provide the long-term security our chapter has always lacked, we need your help.
The time has come for the Oak Door Corporation (the House Corporation which serves Beta Chi) to reassume ownership of the PIKE house from Pi Kappa Alpha?s International Housing Corporation, the White Horse Corporation.
Our task is to raise the $250,000 needed to help reassume ownership of our fraternity house, and address its most urgent capital improvement needs which include renovating the bathrooms and fixing our leaking chapter room.
These funding priorities are explained in more detail in our campaign brochure, which you can view by clicking the link on the right side of this page.
Right now, a group of alumni volunteers is working to personally reach out to each and every Beta Chi brother to ask for his support to this campaign. Our effort is important, and requires a personal touch.
When you are asked to join us in this important mission, we hope you will do two things:
Our team of volunteers work in the “free time” so if you are not contacted as quickly as you would like, please call Tyler Peiper ’96 at (952) 210-5818.
Beta Chi has never embarked on a project this ambitious before. This campaign, once successful will surely be a definitive moment in our history – a moment when our alumni said “PIKE is here to stay.”
Be a part of this moment in history and join me in making a gift to this campaign. When you are called, tell your brothers you believe “PIKE is here to stay” and pledge your full support.
