Zeta Sigma-Florida Institute of Technology

The House Corporation’s advisory board is appointed by the president of the house corporation and is comprised of alumni volunteers. The advisory board provides expertise for the house corporation in financial, insurance, project management and other areas as needed.

Property and Facility Management – John Terwilliger

JT-1097 (1983) John graduated from Florida Tech in April 1987 with a degree in Management Science. John has worked for Mutual of America Life Insurance for 16 years. He is currently a Senior Vice President of Facilities and runs their Boca Raton campus. John supports the house corporation with his experience in facilities management.

Financial Planning and Management – Frank Racioppi

Frank Racioppi (2002) currently is working for Citadel Investment Group LLC. headquartered in Chicago, IL as a Senior Project Manager working with multi-national clients on financial software implementation. Prior to that he worked for Nuveen Investments and Sapient Global Markets in a variety of Financial Technology roles. Frank also serves as the President of House Lannister Holdings LLC. – a multi-member real estate acquisition firm that specializes in long term residential multi-tenant buildings in the south side of Chicago.

Frank served as Regional Vice President of the Sunshine Region of Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity as well as President and Treasurer of the Zeta Sigma Chapter. Additionally, he served as a two term Treasurer of Student Government during his time at Florida Tech. He graduated in 2007 with bachelor’s degrees in both Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering. Frank and his wife Elizabeth have been actively supporting various charitable interests in Chicago focused primarily on supporting PAWS Chicago – the largest no kill animal shelter in the city.

Construction Engineering and Design – Thomas E. Miller, P.E.

Thomas E. Miller, P.E. graduated from Florida Tech with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering in 1994. He is currently a principal at Structural Engineering and Inspections, Inc. and is involved with: new construction building design, wood truss design/repair, threshold inspections, quality assurance inspections, forensic investigations (structural, building envelope and geotechnical), alternate dispute resolution and litigation support.

Insurance and Libility – Charles Reilly

Charles Reilly (1975) assists the house corporation with insurance and liability issues. Chuck work to make sure the house corporation is getting the most bang for it’s buck on insurance policies and help to identify any coverage gaps or exposures that may exist form a property and liability perspective.

Legal Council – Travis Jones

Travis Jones (2003) is the legal council for the house corporation. Travis reviews all legal documents and advises the house corporation on legal issues that may crop up from time to time. Travis is a prosecutor in the Florida District Attorney’s office.

Fundraising – Joe Caruso

JoeCaruso Joe Caruso (1970) advises the house corporation on fundraising campaigns and currently serves as the chairman for the house corporation’s Love of Fraternity Leads campaign to construct a new Pike House at Florida Tech.

Joseph Caruso is founder and principal of Omnifirst Capital Corporation, a successful private investment firm focused on opportunities in the technology, health care, Energy, and entertainment industries. He founded Omnifirst in 1984 following a decade of hands-on financing and growth in the banking industry. Joe has been a contributing member of The Make A Wish Foundation, Father Flanagan’s Boys Town, Wounded Warriors Project, member of Board of Trustees for the Pi Kappa Alpha Foundation and has been inducted into the Order of West Range as a distinguished member of Pi Kappa Alpha. Most recently he has been listed as a Founding Member of the of the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia and the Joseph Caruso Family Scholarship at Florida Institute of Technology.

Mr. Caruso is proud to be noted as the co-founder of the 501(c)(3) Grand Slam We Care Foundation which has contributed over Six Million Dollars to local charities primarily for education based initiatives.
