PIKE hosted their 2nd Annual Fire Truck Pull last weekend, raising money to send a group of brothers to El Salvador on a mission trip. About 200-300 students across campus attended the philanthropy event, and pulled a fire truck across Sigma Sigma Commons. Teams of ten students pulled the firetruck in a tournament-style competition and competed for the fastest time.
Nearly $2,000 was raised to help support the mission trip! The trip will take place April 27 – May 4, as nine brothers travel to El Salvador to help build new homes for families living in poverty. This will be the seventh year in a row that PIKE has gone on this trip, which has become one of the most rewarding and defining experiences the chapter displays.
