Kappa Delta Pikes attended a local Relay for Life on Friday, March 20th.
Relay for Life is an event that is held in hundreds of locations across the country and is a fundraising event to raise money for cancer research and awareness. The event took place from 6:00 PM until 6:00 AM on that Saturday morning.
We had the majority of our Brotherhood attend the event and fundraise a total of more than $8,000 for the cause. Brother David DePalma raised over $1,000 by himself, as he always does with this event. Philanthropic events like Relay for Life are always of great interest to our chapter as we have all been affected by the vicious behavior of cancer.
We are always happy and excited to participate in events like these and look forward to the next one!
