Our Order was founded on the knightly ideals of reverence, gentility, knowledge, leadership, brotherhood, and excellence. We invite you to explore our chapter’s site and learn more about what membership in Kappa Alpha Order means.
We are one of six IFC fraternities at the University of Tulsa, and we pride ourselves in our pursuit of excellence while students at TU and throughout life. We are a close group of men who are drawn to KA because of our common ideals and values. As a chapter, we seek to enhance each member’s years at the University of Tulsa and after life. Founded on campus in 1937, Mu chapter has consistently recruited the best men at TU and been recognized for our outstanding performance. Since 2012 Mu Chapter has been ranked first or second for highest GPA on the row. In the fall of 2017 our chapter obtained a GPA of 3.425, the highest GPA on fraternity row. Mu chapter is continuing in our pursuit of excellence in recruiting the best men at the University and maintaining our strong campus presence. We welcome you to join us in whoever you are; member, alumni, parent, or potential new member as we continue growing and impacting students at TU.
Formal IFC recruitment at the University of Tulsa takes place the Friday, Saturday, Sunday of orientation week, just before Fall classes start. We encourage each incoming student to consider signing up for recruitment as it provides a unique opportunity to meet both more of your incoming class as well as upperclassmen and leaders on campus. Further information about Tulsa Greek Life and registration for formal rush can be found at: https://utulsa.edu/campus-life/greek-life/
Mu chapter will be host multiple events in several areas of the United States throughout this summer in order to meet incoming TU freshman. You may be receiving a call inviting you to a specific event, but because we do not have everyone’s contact information, feel free to contact me about our upcoming events in different cities: email@example.com. You can find more information about summer events and formal recruitment by clicking on the “Recruitment” tab at the top of the page.
We look forward to meeting each of you either this summer or at formal recruitment in August.
