As our lives change so do our priorities. Work, spouses, children, and civic commitments are all pieces of life’s puzzle that deserve our attention. Rightly so, as these things make us who we are. They define us.
I ask you to reflect on your life and your priorities. How did you get to where you are? How did you become the person you are today? For me, Delta Sigma Phi played a big role in the man I am today.
Your friends, your career, your family—do you see Delta Sigma Phi in any of them? Setting priorities is no easy task, but I hope that you would consider your affiliation with Alpha Eta to be one that you hold close to your heart.
During the past year, alumni have shown their devotion to Alpha Eta by contributing more than $9,900 to help with much-needed projects and scholarships. In order for the Chapter to grow and improve, it must remain a priority with each of its alumni. Your support is critical in keeping Alpha Eta strong for future members. As you read in the summer edition of our newsletter, the undergraduates have been hard at work, recruiting new members and hosting numerous philanthropic events to help better the Chapter, university, and community. Meanwhile, our Alumni Corporation Board (ACB) has been diligently assessing the needs of the Chapter to determine which projects and programs require our immediate attention.
This year, the ACB needs to raise a minimum of $13,000 to assist with the following projects:
All contributions will be managed by the ACB to ensure the Chapter continues to flourish. You can break your gift into monthly, quarterly or semiannual payments. You can also set up recurring payments to automatically charge your credit card or draft payments from your checking account.
Please consider this opportunity and help the organization that made such an impact on your life. By making Delta Sigma Phi a priority, you are establishing its importance to you and creating a legacy for the Chapter to cherish and build upon.
