It isn’t fair that our undergraduate brothers are missing out on some of Delta Chi’s great traditions during COVID-19, but as alumni, we can do our part to help by joining the alumni challenge today. With so many alumni events having been canceled due to the pandemic, the Delta Chi Alumni Association (DXAA) is excited to announce a special challenge that can bring us all together. To support various needed projects and goals, the Mississippi State Chapter is announcing a special $15,000 matching gift challenge for alumni. The chapter has set aside $15,000 and is challenging the alumni to match that amount. This would raise a total of $30,000! Imagine the impact YOU can make on the chapter by helping the alumni match the chapter’s investment! Make your gift TODAY so you do not miss out on this opportunity to join the challenge and make a difference.
The biggest project planned is the construction of a basketball court in the backyard of the chapter house. This will benefit the chapter by providing a setting for brotherhood development through sport. Because of the size of this project, we are excited to offer a couple of naming opportunities to high-level donors. By giving $3,000, you can have your name forever memorialized on our brand new court, or for $5,000 you can feature a group or class name. Please let us know if you are interested in either of these naming opportunities.
There are some other house improvement projects that the chapter and DXAA plan to help the MSU Delta Chi Building Corporation Fund. Additional funds will go toward supporting a robust recruitment budget as the Mississippi State Chapter is on the brink of breaking the 50-member threshold. A robust budget will allow us to better compete with the larger chapters on campus.
As a reminder, all donors will be recognized as dues-paying members of the DXAA. Please join us and pledge your support for the Delta Chi Alumni Association today.
