 Collecting Delta Chi Memorabilia

The Delta Chi Alumni Association is sponsoring an initiative to decorate the Delta Chi House with Delta Chi memorabilia from the past and repair old composites.  Please consider donating any unique items you may have. It will cost money to repair the composites and prepare items for display. Therefore, please consider a gift to the 2014 Alumni Association Membership Campaign.

We are in search of Delta Chi memorabilia you may be willing to donate that is suitable for display in the entry foyer, conference room, alumni guest room, parlor and/or dining areas. If you have prints or posters of the crest/coat of arms, pennants, photos, a special Quarterly Magazine, or any item suitable for framing, please consider donating the item to this worthy cause to display and preserve our rich history. Display items may also include medallions, award plaques, statues, paper weights, etc. that are related to Delta Chi.

Founding Father, David Hunt ’64, has already agreed to donate his initiation certificate from the Alabama Chapter and the first Charter ceremony program. Other such items from the past would be very much appreciated.

Items may be mailed to Phil Parrish ’89 at the address below. Please include your name, year, contact information, and a short description of any items sent. You can also make arrangements to drop off at the Delta Chi House by contacting the “E” (Alumni Relations Secretary), Shannon Manson at (605) 651-2241 or stm208@msstate.edu. If you choose to drop off, please let Phil know what you are donating by emailing a description and/or picture to him at liquidheet@yahoo.com.

Please send items during December and January in order to have time to complete this project before Super Bulldog Weekend. Please contact Phil if you have any questions.
