Students, alumni, parents and FSU supporters attending Clock & Seal on Friday, November 17, 2017, will have the opportunity to hear from two FSU advocates and leaders, Nan Hillis and Gordon “Ollie” Wareham.  Purchase individual tickets or an entire table for your organization or Seminole Club to hear their remarks to a capacity crowd estimated to be more than 400 strong.

Nan Hillis is a proud graduate from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration. With 36 years of successful banking and financial services experience combined with over 25 years of nonprofit leadership, Hillis is known for her exceptional executive management skills and demonstrating a broad range of institutional experience. She has played an integral role in multiple acquisition deals, programs for women’s career acceleration, and a number of nonprofit entities. For the past 18 years, Hillis has served on the Board of Directors for the Girl Scouts of Northwest Georgia and the Girl Scouts of the USA. At Florida State her impact has been ubiquitous all across campus and beyond, including service as the Chair of the College of Business Board of Governors, and Chair of the Foundation Board of Trustees Audit Committee

Gordon “Ollie” Wareham is a member of the Seminole Tribe of Florida and resides on the Hollywood Seminole reservation. He is the most recently elected member of the Hollywood Board of Directors for the Seminole Tribe of Florida Inc.  Over the pass 14 years, Gordon has served as the Vice Chairman of the Seminole Tribe of Florida Gaming Commission. Inspired by his Aunt Carol Cypress, he’s learned the art of storytelling and Native American Flute. With his unique style of telling Seminole legends, he keeps his audience entertained and able to pass on Seminole knowledge.  A longtime fan of Florida State University, Wareham has given lectures at FSU for the past 8 years. These lectures focus on the Seminole Tribe’s history and how the Seminole people survived the 3 Seminole Wars.
