The Kappa Alpha Mansion is the largest and – we believe - most beautiful fraternity house on Auburn University’s campus. Completed in the Fall of 2005, it serves as a wonderful establishment for housing, social functions, as well as a prime location for tailgating during football season. We’re extremely proud of our home, and are so thankful for the generous parents and alumni that contributed donations in order for us to have such a wonderful establishment.
The Mansion is modeled after a true Colonial Southern plantation home, and has two stories of living space. Our dining area, entertainment room, great room, library, alumni room, President and Vice President’s rooms, and house mother’s living quarters are all downstairs. The majority of the brother’s living quarters are upstairs. Truly, everyones favorite amenity of the house has proven to be the spacious front porch. Not only does it provide a spectacular view of Jordan Hare Stadium and campus, it also creates a special setting to unwind after a long day or socialize with friends. The house can comfortably accommodate 38 brothers and is located conveniently across the street from two Tiger Transit stops, which makes getting to campus in good time a breeze. In the backyard sits our famous “Party Barn,” where many of our band parties take place. The Party Barn has a 1500 sq. ft. deck attached to it, complete with mounted LCD TV’s. Behind the Party Barn, we have our sand volleyball court and outdoor bar. We also utilize the “Pecan Grove” behind our house as a popular tailgating area for brothers and alumni. There is always plenty of room, and we would love to have you on any of the home football game weekends. Feel free to take a look at our photo album on our Facebook page for more pictures!
