ATO made history today at Florida State. Since the fraternity colonized in 1947, we have always rented our fraternity house – until now.
Today, the alumni house corporation closed on the purchase of 608, 616 and 618 Lafayette Street. In a prime location just steps from Westcott Fountain and the Tucker Civic Center, ATO’s new property provides us with lots of space to expand and lots of opportunity to develop a large, traditional fraternity house to properly represent the distinguished history and brothers of Alpha Tau Omega.
So many brothers have helped make this long-awaited dream a reality. ATO owes special thanks to Chris Diaz ’85, Greg Michaud ’89, Kyle Reed ’84, Jeff Scales ’87, Skip Smith ’79, Fred Maglione ’93, Matt Nasrallah ’84, Tim Padgett ’84, Micah Ketchel ’04, Jorge Piedra ’89, Scott McClelland ’79 and Garrick Wright ’99 for all of their efforts making this latest transaction a reality.
